The dredging of our beloved marina is underway with an assortment of ups and downs…..so to speak…..
David and Ronnie are the two guys handling the big rigs and the dock duties are being led by the magnificent, Mike Adorno who, true to his legend, steps up whenever there is work…hard work…to be done at the marina. The heavy loads are also being carried by Hal Fowler, Anthony, John Pulley, and whomever they can capture for line duty while moving boats.
The runway between A and B docks is completed with the corresponding slips wrapped up by September 30th. Next stop is the runway between B and C docks. Captains who are in town are requested to contact Mike to assist in relocating their vessels.
The project is moving slower than expected but our costs are tied to the yards of material removed, not time. That is the good news. There is no bad news, so far.
