On Dec 27, Donn and I decided we wanted to transplant two of his Areca Palms that were pot bound.  When we finished we had breakfast and then went fishing.  Surprising, we stopped at the Estates pond just for 5 minutes.  We stayed for almost an hour.  I caught 4 bass all in the 1 1/2-2 pound range and Donn got one that was 20 inches long.  Donn also caught a tilapia (so much for Ron Klowden's insisting they can't be caught).  He also caught a large bluegill/sunfish/speck.  I had at least 3 others hit my chug bug.  The other ponds we stopped at produced nothing.  There are some nice fish in our Ballantrae ponds.
